Transportation Permit

SIUJPT (Transport Management Services Business License)
This SIUJPT is a form of approval from the provincial government as the basis for a company that carries out all business and is intended to represent the interests of the owner of the goods, namely by managing all activities for sending and receiving goods, whether via land, air and sea transportation.

This SIUJPT is an important licensing document that transportation management service companies must have. If they don’t have it, the company will be given administrative sanctions in the form of written warnings and business license revocation and suspension.
Companies that have SIUJPT are allowed to carry out all delivery activities

Legal basis
Law No. 17 of 2008 concerning Shipping regulations for the maritime transportation sector contains the principle of implementing the cabotage principle by empowering national sea transportation which provides a conducive climate to advance the water transportation industry, including convenience in the field of taxation and capital in procuring ships. as well as the existence of long-term contracts for transportation; In order to empower the national maritime transportation industry, this Law also regulates ship mortgages

Government Regulation No. 20 of 2010 concerning Transportation in Waterways. This regulation regulates what matters must be discussed and known regarding transportation in waters. Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 49 of 2017 concerning the Implementation and Operation of Transportation Management Services. Regulates regulations made with the aim of encouraging investment climate that provides convenience to business actors in the field of transportation management services, it is necessary to reorganize the activities of organizing and exploiting transportation management services

SIUJPT Management Requirements Document

The following are the requirements for processing SIUJPT as follows:

  • Notary’s DEED & Ministry of Law and Human Rights Decree
  • KTP & NPWP of Directors and Shareholders
  • Corporate NPWP
  • Indonesian Citizen Expert, minimum D3 in the field of Shipping / Maritime / Aviation / Transportation / IATA Diploma / FIATA Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or professional competency certificate in Forwarding or Supply Chain Management or Customs or Port Expert Certificate (alternative or cumulative)
  • Have an authorized capital of at least 1.2 billion, and at least 25% of the authorized capital must be placed and fully paid up with valid proof of deposit or audited by a public accounting firm
  • Have your own office building ownership certificate or proof of building lease for at least 2 (two) years
  • Technical proposal equipped with:
    • Information about owning or controlling an operational vehicle with at least 4 (four) wheels as proven by valid proof of ownership or rental
    • Information about owning or controlling a parking lot or pool
    • Information about having a system of software and hardware equipment as well as information and communication systems that are integrated with land, sea, air and railway transportation information systems in accordance with technological developments 1.     • Transportation Management Services Company Business License (Photocopy)
    • Recommendations for the need to open branch offices from Port Operators and/or Airport Operators or Other Transportation Authorities
    • Decree on Appointment of Branch Head signed by the person in charge of the company
    • Branch Head’s KTP (Photocopy) 2. Previous Transportation Management Services Business License (IUJPT) (Original and Photocopy) (for data changes) 3. If extended, data changes:
    • Company activity report (accompanied by the signature of the person in charge and affixed with the company stamp
